Alaska Wing Covers
has been in business for over 30 years. In addition to wing
covers we make Arctic-insulated cowling covers, closed cell neoprene
prop covers, windshield covers, spinner covers, as well as most other
surface covers.
Cowling covers are insulated with a 1.5 ounce Dacron Poly fill and
are about an inch thick. Colors offered are Black, Red and Royal
Blue.
Wing covers are scalloped to minimize lift due to wind. Spoilers
can also be ordered. A Cessna or Super Cub will have 6 scallops
with fasteners on each wing. There is also a wing to wing stationary
hook and bungee to help keep your wing covers in place. An additional
wing to wing bungee and stationary hook can be added on request.

Vented/Mesh Wing Covers
Our old style vented wing covers have been improved one more notch
by adding a mesh strip lengthwise down the wing. This allows wing
protection from all the elements.
Also available - Mesh wing & tail
covers...destined to be our best selling winter aircraft covers.
They are easy to put on and stay secure.
Our convenient
fastening system consists of a stationary high impact plastic molded
"J" hook. The hooks are stitched directly on to the wing
cover. A bungee ties on to the webbing on the leading edge of the
wing cover. At the trailing edge of the bungee we incorporate a 2
inch, loop with a shock cord clamp that slips easily onto the stationary
hook even when wearing mittens or gloves. Our fastening system eliminates
all the problems of metal hooks and frozen, bulky, rubber balls. Our
covers are conveniently color coded either right or left according
to your navigation lights. All
covers are made to order and the fit is guaranteed. Orders are made
